Company Profile

Indecon was established in 2008 to assist with the set up and rollout of a range of online insurance services for a large commercial insurance broker in Ireland. Indecon advised and managed the project from the initial concept stage right through to the site launch.

Ten years ago in Ireland it was impossible for consumers to purchase their personal insurance online. Now consumers expect to be able to compare quotes, compare polices and buy their personal insurance services on the Internet. Car, home and travel insurance can now be easily purchased online. Despite the obvious advantages of the net, there are still insurance businesses operating without web services. This is partly due to the complexities of insurance policies.

The most common misconception we constantly hear is insurance is not a business that can succeed online. We believe the World Wide Web was built for the insurance industry and through Indecon any insurance product can be managed online.

We believe we can bring the success the online banking industry has enjoyed to the insurance world, by allowing customers to manage polices online within the parameters set by the business.
